September 2026: Opening of registrations for Carré des Jardiniers.
Candidates must send the documents as specified in Article 4 of these regulations.

Early March 2027 * First phase: Pre-selection
The jury announces the results of the pre-selection and the names of the 10 candidates advancing to the next stage: the selection of finalists.
March 2027 * First Phase: Pre-selection
The organizer will inform all candidates of the results.
Early April 2027 * Second Phase: Selection of Finalists
The 10 pre-selected candidates will meet the jury to present and defend their projects. They may use the medium(s) of their choice to present their projects.
Early April 2027 * Second Phase: Selection of Finalists
GL events will inform all candidates of the results, including the selection of the four finalists and the two alternates.
Early May 2027: Submission of the final dossier
(technical details specified – see terms in Article 4) by the finalists to GL events.
May 2027: Announcement of the 4 finalists
After reviewing the final dossiers, the jury will confirm the names of the four finalists through GL events.
May 2027: The four finalists will be introduced to the press
The four finalists will be introduced to the press at a press conference organized by Carré des Jardiniers.
July 2027: Visit to the Eurexpo park
Visit to the Eurexpo park for the four finalists with the GL events team.
November 26–November 29, 2027: Setting up the gardens
Setup of the finalist gardens at Eurexpo – Lyon.
November 30 - December 2, 2027: Paysalia
Paysalia exhibition open to visitors.
December 1, 2027: Jury visit to the gardens
Jury visit to the gardens, finalists' presentations to the jury, and jury deliberation (see Article 5). Awarding of the 2025 Master Gardener Trophy.
December 2 - 3, 2027: end of the exhibition
Dismantling of the gardens.
