Who is Ludovic ?
Ludovic Orain, 36, is a landscape gardener based in Perpignan, in the south of France. For over 17 years, he has cultivated a deep love of nature and wide open spaces, a vocation that began when he was a child working alongside his grandfather. It was in this family garden, amid the scent of flowers, the rustle of insects and fertile soil, that his passion for the profession was born.
At the age of 18, driven by this vocation, he embarked on a sandwich course, guided by a mentor who remains a key figure in his career to this day. From an early age, Ludovic nurtured his entrepreneurial ambitions and set up his first company, dedicated to garden maintenance.
In 2019, with ten years' experience gained in a variety of companies, he created Terranova Paysage, a personal and professional venture where his passion for design can be fully expressed.
Terranova Paysage has three teams: residential maintenance (Patrice Ramon), private garden maintenance (Thibault Lecolaire) and garden design (Ludovic Orain and Florient Jacquet).
After starting with maintenance, Ludovic signed his first design project in 2021. It was a decisive step, and a revelation: designing a garden means creating a living, enduring space, a true extension of his imagination and sensibility.
Today, with each new creation, Ludovic Orain pursues his ambition: to build gardens that convey emotion, where man and nature return to harmony.
HIS PROJECT: The Mediterranean setting
This project draws its essence from Mediterranean inspiration, and is intended as a concrete response to today's ecological and urban challenges. Much more than a simple green space, it offers an immersive experience where nature is magnified while respecting the scarcity of resources.
Here, every choice - from materials to plants - illustrates a strong conviction: to show that with little water and reasoned thought, it is possible to design spaces that are sustainable, aesthetic and resilient. This garden embodies a vision of the future: the gardens of tomorrow.
In this setting, modernity and poetry are not in conflict, but in harmonious dialogue. Nature, architecture and man find a subtle balance here, inviting visitors to rediscover the simplicity of living things, to observe and to feel.
